Extraction of a tooth often leads to local resorption of the dental ridge and especially of the buccal bone sections. This leads to difficulties, both from a functional and an aesthetical aspect, with subsequent conventional or implant based prosthesis reconstruction.
Tigran has completed several experimental studies that show that if the extraction cavity is filled with Tigran™ PTG the alveolar ridge volume is maintained, which makes implant treatment more predictable and the results more esthetically appealing.
