Tigran™ PTG is applied by the dentist where bone is missing. The irregularly-shaped titanium granules are fixed by capillary forces and interlock. Together with blood and bone cells, new, strong bone is formed. Tigran's titanium granules give immediate stability and sustainable volume which ensures a durable and aesthetically satisfactory result.
For over forty years titanium has been used for implants and prostheses in the body. Titanium is a tested and safe bone replacement material that provides immediate stability and long term durability. A majority of studies show how the titanium granules are integrated into the jawbone in the same manner as titanium implants and in addition it helps get new bone cells to grow.
