Bone Loss in the Jaw

Tigran's products are not for sale in the U.S.

Changes and volume loss in the jawbone can occur for various reasons. The most common reason is that one or more teeth have been lost due to tooth loosening (35 %-40 % of all people suffer from tooth loosening diseases, also known as periodontitis) or that your dentist has removed a tooth for one or another reason. Already a short time after a tooth is lost, the jawbone resorbs. But it is possible to stabilize and rebuild the jawbone. With a bone regeneration material your dentist can fill in deformities in the jawbone and create the scaffolding needed for new bone to form.

Three cases when your jawbone can change

  • With the loss of one or more teeth
  • With inflammation around the tooth, at the root of the tooth or around the tooth implant
  • With surgical intervention
